Based at Rugby School UK, Katy joined the Rugbeian Community in May 2021 having spent the previous 11 years working for the British Army on Communication, Community Engagement and Recruitment projects. Her background is in campaign focussed marketing, mostly for the public sector, and is a data-driven marketeer with a passion for strategy. Katy has won numerous awards for her campaigns including Best Use of Social Media, Best Public sector/Government campaigns, Best Outdoor Campaign and Best Graduate Recruitment Website.
Katy spends time at all Rugby School Group campuses throughout the year and has strong relationships with the teams on the ground at Rugby School Japan and Rugby School Thailand.
Anne is the Director of Marketing and Admissions at Rugby School Japan. Having completed a Degree in Hospitality Management, she joined the HSBC Graduate Scheme and spent 10 happy years in various roles. In 2000, she, her husband and two young children headed to Malaysia, then Thailand working in International Schools before arriving in Brunei in 2010 where she spent 14 years as Head of Admissions and Marketing at Jerudong International School.
Anne loves meeting people and hearing their stories. She also loves data and number crunching, and of course, the food in Japan!
Abbie Barns – Global Data Manager
Based in the UK office, Abbie joined the Rugbeian Community team in June 2021 from her previous role as a credit controller at a pharmaceutical company. Prior to this she attended the University of Sheffield where she completed a Batchelor of Science in Geography before moving back to her hometown of Daventry.
Outside of the office Abbie can often be found on top of a hill in the Peak District or gallivanting all over the UK meeting friends from university.
